Ebay Offerings - Details & Extras!

Updated May 22, 2007.

Here are audio samples and images not available at the Ebay listings.

Since March, 2007, I have offered some choice albums on Ebay. My user name is "popquiz99" and this link will take you to all of my current Ebay listings and feedback (opens in a new window).

NOTE: To keep files small but "true" to the source, MP3 clips are recorded at 96KB sample rate, with no scratch filtering or other modifications. The vinyl sound should be of higher quality (of course, this ultimately depends on your equipment!).

Deep Purple "Shades of Deep Purple"

Click for a sample from "Hush", a Top 40 hit in 1968 (mp3 file, 1.6MB)

LP Fabulous Thunderbirds "What's the Word" Rock R&B

Slim Harpo "The Original King Bee"

This album has a long article on Slim Harpo's career. He passed away in 1970. Among those he influenced are the Rolling Stones (especially on the "Exile on Main Street" album), Canned Heat, and the Fabulous Thunderbirds (with Kim Wilson still going strong--see my LPs for T-Bird action!)

Click for a sample from "Baby Scratch My Back," his 1967 Top 40 hit.(mp3 file, 1.1MB)
